Rachael’s journey into speech pathology began after becoming a mother, inspiring her passion for supporting communication across the lifespan. She is a recent graduate of the University of Queensland, where she was recognized for academic excellence in her final semester.
Through her clinical placements and current work at CHC, Rachael has developed experience providing assessment and therapy for children with speech and language needs. She has supported both children and adults who stutter, as well as individuals with Autsim and Down syndrome. Rachael has also gained experience working with adults with neurological conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, delivering therapy in both individual and group settings.
Rachael enjoys working with both children and adults and is passionate about developing as a generalist clinician across a broad range of communication and swallowing needs.
Outside of work, Rachael enjoys hiking, visiting animal reserves and spending time at the beach, reflecting her background in Marine Biology. She looks forward to meeting new clients and building supportive, empowering therapeutic relationships.
